You and your child will be learning coil, pinch and slab methods of handbuilding with clay. You will be making projects such as masks, mugs, and animal rattles. You will also be underglazing (painting) your own pieces.

HANDBUILDING WITH CLAY (2 Day Session) |

In handbuilding, you will be introduced to several methods of constructing with clay. Instructors will show you projects involving slabs, coils, and extruded shapes (think big Play-Doh Fun Factory). You’ll learn how to glaze your pots as well. Beginning students may use a low-fire white or terra cotta claybody only. As an intermediate student, you will move on to more intricate projects- the sky‘s the limit!. Intermediate/advanced students may use either low-fire or high-fire claybodies. Your class fee includes glazing and firing

FUSED GLASS JEWELRY MAKING CLASS (2 DAY CLASS) |

This class is offered in two sessions. The first session you will create a pendant, a pin and a set of earrings using System96 fusible glass and System96 dichroic glass. These pieces will be fired overnight and you will return the next day and learn how to apply the findings and wire wrapping techniques.
Tuition for this two day course is $85.00. All glass and supplies are included to complete three pieces!If you'd like to complete more pieces or different projects, you may purchase additional glass and supplies. This class will be strictly limited to 10 students in order to fire all projects in one firing so that we can finish them the next day.
